Pine Plains, New York, November, 2020. These trees struggle mightily to hold onto their color.
Early in the Covid-19 crisis, while we were living in Mexico, I wanted to be in contact with friends in New York who were being hit very hard by the pandemic, much harder than we were in San Miguel de Allende. I decided I would send out a daily poem via email. I have gathered here some of my favorite poems. The list of friends to whom I send poems has grown to include many parts of the U.S. and the world. I continue to send them out daily.
