Andra, That painting is called "Manet's Lemon." The inspiration is a full-length portrait painting by Manet of his friend, Theodore Duret, done in 1868. Althought the portrait is the focus, in the bottom right hand corner of Manet's work is a wonderful still life arrangment that includes a decanter, glass, and lemon. I love the portrait but I couldn't resist the still life and knew it could stand on its own as a painting.
